Shalom! Welcome!

 

The mission of Neve Shalom (Oasis of Peace) is to be a Spirit-Filled, Torah-Observant fellowship of followers of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).  We are an oasis of sorts for those who desire to worship in a distinctly Jewish way - the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and an outreach to the Greater Rockford and Stateline area.

We gather together every Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm as mishpocha (family) to celebrate the Shabbat - the Biblical Sabbath - and enter into Yahweh's rest as ordained in Holy Scripture.  Because the seventh day Biblical Sabbath is Saturday and because biblically each day is from sunset to sunset, we come together on the day which Yahweh has ordained to celebrate the first of all Feasts - Shabbat.
